FCA cancels trading permission for Coffin Insurance Services
Regulator not satisfied CIS conducts its affairs in a sound and prudent manner.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has told Coffin Insurance Services (CIS) to cease trading.
The regulator is not satisfied that Wales-based broker is "fit and proper" and said it did not ensure "its affairs are conducted in a sound and prudent manner".
The FCA issued a warning notice and a decision notice, on 10 September and 14 October respectively, to CIS, which did not refer the matter to the tribunal within 28 days of the latter.
