Aon launches MGA targeting public sector
Maven Public Sector will write business for local authorities, police, fire and rescue services.
Aon has launched a managing general agent (MGA) aimed at writing business for the public sector through brokers.
Maven Public Sector will cater for property, casualty, financial lines and motor classes for local authorities, police, fire and rescue services.
Aon said the MGA will be backed by supporting capacity from carefully selected A-rated insurers, and that the firm is headed by managing director John Shaftoe, who joined Aon Risk Solutions last year.
