Broker Network says it remains a "dominant force”

Towergate-owned network insists trading position is “good” following £55m valuation drop.

Broker Netwok has insisted that its "trading position is good" and that it continues to "dominate in supporting the independent broker market".

The statement follows the news that Towergate, which put itself up for sale last week, had reduced the value of Broker Network by £55m in its latest set of results. The troubled consolidator said the performance of its network division had been disappointing and was lower than forecast.
