Broker Expo 2014: Biba prepares for the challenges of 2015

Organisation will launch its manifesto for the new year at the Houses of Parliament.

The British Insurance Broker's Association (Biba) set out the challenges facing the industry and the successes over the past year at the Broker Expo in Coventry yesterday.

The body will launch its 2015 manifesto at the Houses of Parliament in January and one of its key concerns is what is currently known as the Insurance Mediation Directive.

The directive covers regulatory matters like commission disclosure and how much professional indemnity a broker needs to have.
