IIG rolls out new trackside cover

Facility for contractors comes ahead of start of work on HS2.

Incorporated Insurance Group (IIG) is to launch a new contractors insurance facility on 1 December for those who predominantly work ‘trackside'.

According to the managing general agent it has created the product as when contractors win a new contract repairing local train stations or building new facilities on railway land they often forget that ‘trackside' is usually excluded from their liability cover.
