Willis UK sees performance fall

Big losses see Amazons shares hit 12-month low

Single mid-digit drop for Willis Insurance UK but retail division achieves modest growth.

Willis Insurance UK has reported a "mid-single digit" drop in commission and fees for the third quarter of 2014 following the broker's most recent set of results.

However, the UK retail division achieved "modest growth"

The UK arm sits within Willis' global division which reported total revenues of $293m [£181.7m] for the quarter, down $2m on the same period of 2013.

The global division also achieved $1.1bn of total revenue for the first three quarters of 2014.

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG
