Blanc leaves Gallagher and Deakin takes over
UK retail CEO leaves six months after Oval was bought by Gallagher.
Peter Blanc has left Arthur J Gallagher with immediate effect and Janice Deakin has stepped across as UK retail CEO.
Gallagher confirmed that Deakin will take on responsibility for the UK retail business division and that a "new look" executive team for the division will be announced shortly.
Blanc came on board at Gallagher when the consolidator bought Oval in April for £199m.
He immediately took up the post of UK retail CEO as the departure of Brendan McManus from the position had already been
