Optimism and profitability slip for brokers
Financial services survey shows optimism down and predicts employment decline and investment deterioration.
Brokers are less positive about the overall business situation in the market than they were three months ago according to a survey by the CBI and PwC.
The report for the third quarter, Financial Services Survey, revealed that just 4% more brokers are optimistic about the situation. Just three months previously 28% more brokers reported higher levels of optimism.
Profitability was also down during the quarter, however, it is expected to remain stable over the next quarter.
