Brightside in security breach
Broker website eCar Insurance taken offline as a precaution following cyber attack.
Brightside has confirmed that a data breach occurred across some of its websites earlier this week and has taken its eCar Insurance site offline as a precaution.
The firm said there was no evidence that the attack led to personal information being obtained by the perpertrators.
It commented: "The board of Brightside Group has temporarily taken all of its websites offline until security protocols and final testing has been fully completed."
It has notified some customers via email and advised
