Canopius takes two from Towergate
Firm expands presence in UK marine and pleasurecraft market.
Canopius Group has appointed Tony Harris and Martin Cardus from Towergate to develop its presence in the UK marine and pleasurecraft market.
Harris joins as divisional underwriter UK marine, while Cardus has been appointed as head of marine trades at the global speciality insurance platform.
Harris brings over three decades of experience in the UK marine insurance market to Canopius joining from Towergate, where he served as chairman of Towergate underwriting marine.
