Academy buys Elstree Insurance Services
Broker targeting £32m GWP by financial year end.
Academy Insurance has bought Cambridge-based Elstree Insurance for an undisclosed sum.
The move gives Academy a presence in Cambridgeshire for the first time and takes its number of offices to 14.
According to Kevin Munn, managing director at Academy, the acquisition is proof that the broker is prepared to venture much further afield from its traditional "M4 corridor home".
