Eastwood and Partners closes Halifax office

Yorkshire-based broker opened branch in January last year.

Eastwood and Partners has closed its office in Halifax, Insurance Age can reveal.

The office was opened in January 2013, with Andrew Templeton, former corporate manager of Romero Insurance Brokers, appointed to lead the branch.

John Eastwood, managing director at the firm, told Insurance Age: “We just decided we could save money by merging it with our Huddersfield office. We’ll still be working with the same clients.”

He also stated that since opening the Halifax operation, the firm’s Elland
