Axa confirms claims changes will not affect service to brokers

Insurer says department restructure and investment could benefit brokers.

Axa has said that brokers will not be affected by plans to merge two claims departments.

The insurer announced it will combine its commercial lines and personal intermediary claims organisation and its personal direct and partnerships counterpart into a single claims unit.

The firm intends to make the changes by 1 January next year but highlighted that there will be a smooth transition and greater investment in the department.
