New recruit to sit as non-executive director and brings 35 years’ experience to the role.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has appointed Teresa Fritz as an independent non-executive director.

Fritz has worked in the personal finance industry for over 35 years and according to the trade body her involvement will ensure consumer voices are better heard.

A position as a non-executive director became available after Lord Hunt, Biba's first ever non-exec, stepped up to the role of chairman in January.
