No plans for what’s next, says Fisher

Gallagher CUO praises Adrian Brown and team ahead of handover process.

The departing chief underwriting officer of Arthur J Gallagher, Sian Fisher, has told Insurance Age that she has no plans as to what comes next in her career.

"I will definitely have a look around to see what new and different things are going on," she stated.

"I am not decided as to what [I'll do next] at the moment. I want to finish what I committed to do for Gallagher first.

"Obviously my background and knowledge base is really in insurance, so we shall see."

ALA expands range with pothole insurance

Yorkshire-based GAP insurance provider ALA Insurance has expanded its product offering with the launch of a specialist pothole insurance policy, in a move it claimed targets one of the “more persistent and costly problems facing UK motorists”.
