AA research shows record yearly fall in motor premiums

AA says motor premiums falling but highlights extreme regional cost variations.

The AA British Insurance Premium Index for the second quarter of 2014 showed that quoted comprehensive motor premiums can vary by as much as £690.85 depending on where a car is kept in the country.

The figures revealed that London was the most expensive with the average premiums hitting £922.44 whereas the Isle of Man was the cheapest with quotations reaching just £231.49.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
