Paul Anscombe

Council gets to grips with what brokers are doing around conflict issues as it publishes first discussion paper.

The Insurance Brokers Standards Council (IBSC) is consulting with its members for the first time on the recently published Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) thematic review into conflicts of interest.

The consultation picked out a number of issues highlighted in the thematic review including, insurance add-ons, client expectations, disclosure and administration fees and asked members a variety of questions about how they manage their own conflicts of interest.
