Transactor opens up in Halifax

Software specialist says hub will help target growth in north of England.

Transactor Global Solutions has opened a new office south of Halifax as a centre for sales, training, and project services.

According to the insurance software firm the new office in West Yorkshire gives it a platform for further growth in the north of England, where some 25% of its clients are already based.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
