Hiscox moves away from Dual
Insurer reduced business with managing general agent but broker relationships remain on track.
Hiscox has reduced the amount of business it does with managing general agent (MGA), Dual, for two reasons according to chairman, Rob Childs.
Childs told Insurance Age: "Dual is a big relationship for us and we have been pulling away slightly due to profitability and to reduce exposure."
He emphasised that the relationship with Dual remained an important once but said it had made the move in a number of areas. He did not specify what those areas were but did concede that it was "not a UK
