Bridge adds two department heads

New recruits join from Jelf and Carole Nash.

Bridge Insurance Brokers has made two senior appointments.

Ray Harris has been appointed as head of operations and Karl Ellis joins as head of IT.

The two new department heads will also sit on the Manchester based broker’s management executive team.

Harris joins Bridge from Jelf Group and will be responsible for introducing new systems and procedures to enrich Bridge’s existing quality of service and identifying areas of progression.

Meanwhile Ellis, who moves from Carole Nash, has been tasked

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
