Zurich launches new SME trading platform

Proposition created using feedback from brokers.

Zurich has launched a new digital trading platform, ZTrade. The insurer said the proposition was created “based on on-going input and feedback from brokers over the last two years”.

Brokers will be invited to begin using the system throughout the summer, with full and open access available to all brokers from the beginning of September.

Zurich claimed that brokers “will be able to generate accurate price indications in less than 60 seconds – and have power over the process including amending

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
