Swinton makes acquisition in Barnstaple
Broker has bought books from Money Matters.
Swinton has acquired the commercial and personal lines books of Money Matters.
The Barnstaple-based broker’s commercial clients will transfer to Swinton Commercial in Holsworthy.
The firm’s personal lines clients will transfer to Swinton’s Barnstaple branch.
Paul Weatherbed, proprietor of Money Matters, is to retire.
A spokesperson for Swinton said the broker’s pipeline of acquisitions “remains strong”.
