Towergate tight-lipped on Fusion departures

Four members of staff depart from MGA.

Fusion’s Nick Wright and Stewart Gardiner have left the business as have regional managers for the north and the south, Rob Chapman and Nick Milton.

Wright, managing director at the Towergate-owned managing general agent (MGA), and Gardiner, underwriting director, were previously subject to speculation around a departure to Bluefin.

In May 2013 Insurance Age reported that the duo was in talks to move in a bid to expand Bluefin’s MGA offering.

Bluefin boss Stuart Reid said at the time he was

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
