Oval buys Northern Ireland broker

Oval acquires Trotter and Reid.

Oval Insurance has acquired the business of independent Northern Ireland broker Trotter and Reid for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see the Trotter and Reid client servicing team move to the Oval office in Alfred Street, Belfast.

The existing Trotter and Reid offices in Belfast and Ballymena will close and the owner of the business, Simon Aldred, along with his team will continue to look after the interests of their clients from Belfast.
