Integro buys Richard Thacker & Company

New York-based firm's acquisition adds to list of specialisms.

Integro has bought Manchester-based Richard Thacker & Company for an undisclosed sum.

The US-based international insurance brokerage and risk management firm said the acquisition added to its growing specialisation in niche areas. In October last year it also bought entertainment and sports specialist Doodson Broking Group.

Richard Thacker & Company, which has chartered insurance broker status, was formed in 1962 and lists its specialisms as including education and professional indemnity
