Willis appoints new CEO to replace Hearn

David Martin promoted to lead Willis Limited.

Willis Group Holdings has appointed David Martin as CEO of Willis Limited. He succeeds Steve Hearn in the role.

Hearn will continue as deputy CEO of Willis Group and chairman and CEO of Willis Limited.

In his new role, Martin will retain the position of chairman and CEO of Willis’s insurance business in the UK, to which he was appointed in January 2013.

He will report to Rodney Baker-Bates, chairman of Willis Limited.

Prior to joining Willis, Martin led global sales and distribution for Zurich’s
