Departure decision "right for the business", says RSA CEO Brown

RSA UK chief stepping down after 25 years at the provider.

Adrian Brown’s decision to leave RSA for Arthur J Gallagher is something he has “been thinking about for a fair amount of time”, he told Insurance Age.

Brown has been at RSA for 25 years, and has held the position of CEO for UK and Western Europe since 2008.

“Seven years is a long time,” he said. “I think CEOs go in three year cycles and when I looked at the idea and thought ‘could I see myself here for another five years?’ the honest answer was no, I couldn’t.”
