SEIB chief says purchase will extend broker's range of niche products.

South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) has purchased Lansdown Insurance Brokers.

Lansdown partners Ray Gill and Fred Invine will continue in the business, which will remain in their current offices in Cheltenham.

Barry Fehler, CEO at SEIB, commented: “I am very pleased that we have been able to complete this acquisition and bring on board the fantastic expertise of the team at Lansdown.

“The business is a very good fit for us as they have numerous schemes in areas where we do not currently operate

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG

Brokers have given a mixed report on communication levels around the RSA and NIG deal but with the process kicking forwards today have expressed the hope the takeover will make more products available.
