Broker profits up but optimism down

Survey finds business volumes “slowed markedly” in the three months to March.

The latest quarterly Financial Services survey by the CBI and PwC has revealed a significant fall in broker optimism over the past quarter.

In the three months to March, the report found that a net 41% of brokers were less optimistic about the overall business situation for the sector than more optimistic.

The research balances the two results from those who say they are more optimistic against those who say they are less optimistic to find an overall percentage.

The less optimistic 41% score is
