JM Glendinning names former Towergate man as consultant

Mike Cowburn's experience and connections "perfectly-placed" to help broker grow.

JM Glendinning (Insurance Brokers) has unveiled former Towergate man Mike Cowburn as a consultant to its broking business, Insurance Age can reveal.

The broker said that Cowburn's experience and connections were "perfectly-placed" to help the business grow and develop. 

Cowburn - who will start the role on 1 April 2014 - set up and sold his own broking business to Towergate-owned Folgate back in 2003.

He stayed on as a branch director at Towergate and joined its acquisition team in 2011 before
