UK Broker Summit 2014: Biba chairman voices watchdog concerns
New chairman asks "who regulates the regulator?".
British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) chairman Lord David Hunt of Wirral has voiced his concerns at the watchdog's regulatory motives.
Speaking at Insurance Age's Broker Summit 2014 Lord Hunt urged brokers to help the Financial Conduct Authority better understand the industry.
"I'm not anti-regulation but it worries me about who regulates the regulator," said Lord Hunt, who replaced Andy Homer earlier this year.
