Jelf Manson takes on former CBG boss Askew

Askew will work closely with Jelf's regional MD for the North West.

Jelf Manson has named former CBG Group boss Mike Askew as director in the North West.

Askew - who will be based in Manchester - will work closely with Alan Sumner, the broker's regional MD for the North West.

He has been charged with winning new clients and developing existing customer relationships in the region.

Askew was most recently at Giles, where he worked after selling CBG to the consolidator back in September 2011.

Brokers have mixed reaction on Zurich/Beazley deal
