Marsh expands regional trade credit practice

New recruits will help Marsh capitalise on economic recovery, says broker.

Marsh has made two appointments to its regional trade credit practice.

Lorna Manley has joined the broker’s Belfast office as a development executive. She joins Marsh from Aon’s political risk team in London.

Manley will be responsible for leading the development of Marsh’s trade credit business across Northern and the Republic of Ireland.

Also joining Marsh as a development executive is Rob Farquharson, who takes up his role at the Birmingham office. He previously worked at trade credit insurer

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
