L&G enters personal lines motor market

Provider partners with Junction for new market venture.

Legal & General (L&G) has entered the personal lines motor insurance market as a distributor in partnership with Junction, the affinity arm of the BGL Group.

The launch sees L&G release a direct motor insurance proposition underwritten by a panel of 14 insurers, with a target to reach 100,000 customers within the next three years. It will be available to customers both direct and via price comparison websites.
