CFC records profit rise
Increase in income, profits and customer numbers for specialist underwriting agency.
CFC has delivered a 27% increase in pre-tax profits to £4.4m for the year to 30 September 2013.
The specialist lines underwriting agency also saw operating income increase by 28% to £12.5m.
The results came as CFC confirmed that in the 12 month period it attracted 10,000 new customers to the business.
Managing director David Walsh commented: "It's been another successful year at CFC. We rebalanced our existing portfolio towards the more profitable areas and still demonstrated very healthy growth
