LV turns to Direct Line for personal lines hire
Andy Deakins joins as technical underwriting manager.
LV Broker has moved to boost its personal lines underwriting team with the hire of Direct Line Group's Andy Deakins.
Deakins - who has been portfolio underwriting manager for six years at Direct Line - joins as technical underwriting manager.
He will be based in the Brentwood office and report to Elspeth Hackett, head of personal lines, underwriting. Deakins has been charged with developing the provider's car and home products and will work across the ABC and Highway brands.
