Inter Hannover out as OIM Underwriting capacity provider

Capacity now provided by a consortium of insurers.

Inter Hannover is no longer providing capacity for OIM Underwriting, Insurance Age can reveal.

The company, a UK-based subsidiary of Hannover Re, had been the provider for OIM’s commercial combined facility.

As of 1 January 2014, OIM’s UK SME commercial combined capacity is being provided by RSA, AIG, Aviva and Covéa.

Sian Fisher, chief underwriting officer at Arthur J Gallagher, which owns OIM, said the new arrangement was a “long term deal that not only provides stability but also brings OIM
