Gallagher names UIB man as aviation director

Hamilton-Cox has been charged with growing broker's aviation portfolio.

AJ Gallagher has taken on United Insurance Brokers' (UIB) Chris Hamilton-Cox as aviation department director within its London specialty division.

Hamilton-Cox - who was most recently divisional director at UIB - has also worked for Benfield Group and Citicorp Insurance Brokers.

Gallagher said Hamilton-Cox would work with the team in a bid to grow its overall aviation portfolio with an emphasis on airport liability and business from AIS Gallagher's aviation offices in North America.
