W Denis Credit Risks buys Coastal Credit Insurance Brokers
Coastal founder stepping back from the business.
W Denis Credit Risks has acquired Coastal Credit Insurance Brokers, Insurance Age can reveal.
As part of the deal, Derek Barnett, previously director at Colchester-based Coastal, will join W Denis’s London office.
Barnett has also worked at Euler Hermes, Genesis Underwriting and QBE Trade Credit.
Alan Sarling, founder and majority shareholder of Coastal, will step back from day to day operations, but will continue to work for the new combined business in a consultancy role.
