Gallagher tipped to land Oval takeover

Acquisition expected to be confirmed "late January, early February".

The mooted acquisition of Oval Insurance Broking by AJ Gallagher has been described as a "done deal", by a well placed market source.

Last October Insurance Age reported mounting speculation that Oval had reached the due diligence stage of an acquisition by AJ Gallagher.

Now a market insider has revealed that the acquisition is a "done deal", set to be confirmed in "late January, early February".
