RSA fires Ireland CFO and claims director

Dismissals follow PwC review into Ireland claims and finance issues.

RSA has fired its Ireland CFO Rory O'Connor and Ireland claims director Peter Burke in the wake of the PwC review which investigated the claims and finance issues uncovered in Ireland.

The insurer confirmed that the pair were dismissed for their roles in relation to "large loss and claims accounting irregularities".

RSA stated that "inappropriate collaboration" involving a small number of senior executives in Ireland resulted in financial records that were "inaccurate and potentially misleading"
