RSA poised to publish "key findings" of Ireland PwC probe

Insurer confirms that verdict will be revealed on 9 January.

RSA will, on 9 January, publish the "key findings" of accountant PwC's review into the claims and finance issues uncovered in its Irish business.

In November 2013 the discovery of these concerns set off a chain of events which led to several high-profile suspensions, including that of Ireland CEO Philip Smith, the resignation of group CEO Simon Lee and the unearthing of a £200m black hole in its Irish operations.

In a London Stock Exchange announcement, the insurer confirmed: "RSA announces that
