Gallagher adds Atkinson to management team in North East
New recruit tasked with driving new business development.
Martin Atkinson has joined Arthur J. Gallagher in Newcastle as sales director for UK retail, reporting to office head Michael Anderson.
The broker confirmed that Atkinson's key responsibilities involved new business development for its Newcastle office along with developing relationships with both existing and potential clients across the North East of England and Cumbria.
Most recently, Atkinson held the position of sales director at Henderson Insurance Brokers and, before that, Willis.
