"Amicable settlement" reached between Motorplus and MTA

Motorplus was hit with the £7.67m claim last year.

An "amicable settlement" has been reached between Motorplus and MTA Solicitors and its sister company MTA Corporate Solicitors, Insurance Age can confirm.

Insurance Age revealed last year that Motorplus - which trades as Norwich-based ULR Additions - was hit with a £7.67m bill by the law firms for alleged non-payment and breach of contract.

It was alleged that Motorplus had failed to continue the personal injury claims handling and personal injury family legal protection referrals and contract
