Higos looks to expand graduate training scheme

Higos set to build on graduate quota taken on this year.

Higos Insurance Services is poised to expand its graduate training scheme to take on a further eight recruits next year.

The broker - which is based across the South West - launched the programme in June, which boasted five places.

Looking forward, managing director Ian Gosden said: "It has been very successful for us and heralded a new approach to our staff development programme."

He explained that the first graduates have already attained their Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Cert and plan

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
