L&G GI boss Diane Buckley to leave after restructure
GI division no longer made up of three separate businesses.
Diane Buckley is stepping down as managing director general insurance at Legal & General (L&G) after just one year in the role. She was appointed in January of this year.
Buckley’s departure follows the insurer’s October announcement that it would cut around 600 jobs.
In July 2013, the insurer was restructured into Legal & General Assurance Society (LGAS), which has now been segmented into LGAS Insurance, LGAS Corporate and LGAS Retail Savings.
