Towergate sales director to leave
James McCaffrey to leave after some 10 years at the consolidator.
Towergate Underwriting sales and marketing director James McCaffrey is leaving the broker, Insurance Age can reveal.
A spokesperson for the consolidator said: "We can confirm that James McCaffrey is leaving the business."
McCaffrey had been at Towergate for some 10 years and the broker declined to elaborate on the nature of McCaffrey's departure.
Last week Towergate reported a 3% fall in operating earnings for the first nine months of 2013 and also admitted misallocating £15m of client money
