UKGI urges brokers to provide evidence of file monitoring
Issues came to light during series of workshops.
UKGI has called on brokers to plug operational gaps in file monitoring and providing evidence.
The issue was flagged up during the provider’s most recent series of compliance workshops, which have been approved by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Jill Hambley, compliance consultancy services director at UKGI, said it appeared that many brokers are currently leaving themselves exposed with regards to file monitoring and evidence.
