Mageean pops up at ProSight

Former Ink MD joins Lloyd’s syndicate.

Ex-managing director of Ink Underwriting Bernard Mageean has been appointed as chief operating officer of ProSight Specialty Underwriters.

Mageean will take up the post at the start of December this year.

Prior to leaving Ink, which was recently taken over by Arthur J Gallagher as part of the Giles deal, Mageean was director of insurance at Broker Network for seven months across 2011 and 2012.

He has also worked at QBE for two years where he was managing director of the European property

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva
