Covea and Sabre join SSP's smartphone telematics panel

Motorola's Project Ara intends to bring modular customisation to smartphones

Insurers set to go live during the first quarter of 2014.

Covea Insurance and Sabre have joined the panel for SSP's smartphone telematics offering.

The SoteriaDrive product, unveiled earlier this year as part of a joint venture with Wunelli, was launched in a bid to be the "first mass market" telematics offering to be sold through high street brokers.

The insurer duo are set to go live on the panel during the first quarter of 2014.
